This week I have been working on using up ingredients in my fridge, and I had 1 package of Puff Pastry Dough and a bunch of sliced cheeses and lunch meats. I decided to try making appetizers out of those items.
I used Puff Pastry, a layer of Dijonaise, placed my turkey slices down and then slices of Gouda cheese, rolled the entire thing up jelly role style and cut into pieces.
It turned out really well, a nice quick appetizer which would be great for a Bridal/Wedding Shower or Brunch.
1 square of Puff Pastry
Dijonaise
Deli Meat slices of your choice (ham would be nice as well)
Sliced Cheeses (I used Gouda)

Place your Puff Pastry on a cutting board, smooth into a nice square
Using a pastry brush, brush on a light to medium layer of Dijonaise
Place your Luncheon Meat on the Pastry, covering to within an inch of the edge
Place your Cheese on the Pastry, covering to within an inch of the edge
Roll from one end, Jelly Role style
Slice into 1/2 inch pieces and place on a non-stick baking sheet
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes
Bake until golden brown

FABULOUS! Love this combo
You are such a genius! This is a fantastic idea. Let's not wait for a bridal shower, let just hang out at your out and munch and sip...I'll bring the Goose!
Great for any party!
It's funny how I just recently conquered my fear of puff pastry! It's so easy and I think it makes anything taste great (well, except liver). Oh, these would be perfect for my Friday Happy Hour's with hubby. They make my mouth water.
Shhh. Don't tell anyone but I may eat these for dinner.
Always looking for new appys, especially with Christmas Cocktail party fast approaching!!!

I LOVE it!
oooh, i love this!! so many flavors!
i just thank the heavens above for the saint who invented storebought puff pastry. she (or, dare i say it, he) will always be on my good side. :)
we have also made these and they are so quick and easy. The best part is the fabulous taste, they are simply delish!!!
Great appy idea. They look so pretty too, wonder if roasted red peppers would hold well in these?
We do this all the time! I use a savory cookie dough usually, but the variations on fillings are endless. We like artichoke and spinach, but I want to try a creamy mushroom soon. Another tip: once filled and rolled, you can freeze for longer storage. Either bake from frozen, or allow to thaw for 30 minutes to make slicing easier. Nice work!
Best,
Casey
They look delicious! I have a box of puff pastry in the freezer I haven't found a use for. These look like the ticket!
How clever!
I have the ingredients. How can I not make something so yummy looking and easy to do?
