Everyone loves Chocolate Chip cookies, some enjoy the cookies with Walnuts. I wondered what they would taste like with my favorite nut, Cashews. They were delicious!
I cannot stop eating them! Ok I can and I did, I had two.
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped Cashews
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped Cashews
PREHEAT oven to 375° F
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies

Cashews are my fave. These sound great.
If I start eating them it will be tough to stop. I was thinking of making a batch of chocolate chip cookies tonight. My son loves them!
You just had two cookies?? I always end up eating at least 6. or 7 or 8. I don't think I've had cashews in cookies before... this sounds great!
Cashews are your favorite nut. I want to joke about that but Ill refrain, youll know why in my post tonight or tomorrow.. They sound yummy and they look great.. If you like cashews, I have a great recipe for Coconut cashew cruncher cookies, but not sure if you like coconut.

A cookie with chocolate chips and cashews has got to be great! How could it not? I'd eat more than 2!
Cheryl, everybody make chocolate chip cookies, but nobody ever though of putting cashew nuts. I like this very much, and such a brilliant idea! I will definitely adding cashew next time I make CCC.

Cashews are my favorite nut, too! There's something so wonderful about them, from their shape to their flavor to their wonderfully crunchy yet creamy texture. I can't wait to try a CCC with cashews! They look delish!!
