Malted Milk Ball Cookies

As Dessert Week continues, I have my favorite pervert and co-hort in crime, Donna to thank for this recipe. She noticed I had mentioned that Whoppers were one of my favorite candies and she made these amazing cookies for me!

I swear to DOG they are my new #1 favorite cookie, they are freaking delicious, go make you some now! Trust me! Thanks Donna I heart you!

1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
⅓ cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
2 ¼ cups flour
2 tablespoons instant chocolate drink
mix
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups malted milk balls, chopped

Directions
In bowl, cream butter and sugars together. Then beat in eggs and vanilla.

Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture.

Stir in malted milk balls and shape into 1 ½ inch balls.

Place 2” apart on greased cookie sheet(I used silpats)

Bake at 375 for 10–12 minutes or until set.

Cool for one minute before transferring to wire rack to cool

Cheryl, how do you chop whoppers?! I have never tried, but I can only imagine how difficult that must be. Nonetheless, these cookies look TO DIE FOR!!! I especially love the addition of the instant chocolate milk powder... what a nice touch. Thank you, and thanks to Donna, the food blogosphere's favorite naughty girl!

Stumbled upon your blog in food gawker! Man, these looooooook good. :) I'm guessing you can even increase the malt flavor by using chocolate malt milk powder instead of some plain ol' chocolate powder! wow.

I made these the other night and they turned out bland. I'm going to add malted milk powder to them next time to increase the flavor.

Great idea, although I have made them hundered of times and every person has swooned over them!

How to spatchcock a chicken or turkey!

Finishing some of Cheryl's drafts... Keeping spatchcocking simple. Using a VERY sharp cleaver or kitchen shears -- not scissors, carefu...
