Our first stop was a restaurant very close to our hearts, Canyon Way Bookstore and Restaurant. It is a quiet, small restaurant that we adore! The food is amazing, in fact many years ago we had Crab Cakes there, and I called and told the Chef how much we loved them, he gave me the reciepe over the phone! Seriously! My husband has been making them for us ever since! They taste exactly the same as I remembered!
This time we chose to stay at The Embarcadaro Hotel, it used to be one of our favorites. I have to say we have aged better than it has, but we had a good time and enjoyed the view of the Bay

Some dealies at the Aquarium, the Oregon Coast Aquarium is one of the biggest and best in the world!
The Shark Tube, I was dizzy and could barely stand upright, it is a clear tube you can walk thru and there are sharks on the top, side and bottom, skewy!

Great photos. I have to say that our local Monterey Bay Aquarium is a strong rival as one of the best in the world! The new seahorse exhibit is mind boggling-- and our jelly fish exhibit is incredible-- we just don't have the tube. That would be so cool. Come down and visit us! Would love to meet you!
