Welcome to what may be the final edition of "Tuesdays with Martha Anne" because next week I have all hopes of premiering "Tuesdays with Martha Anne and Bella Sue"!
My guest blogger today is my loving husband John, you can tell it is him by how wordy it is, LOL!
An appropriate sub-title to today's post is "Black Dog Big Sun Blog". Martha is a sun worshipper from INSIDE the house. Once temperatures start breaking into the mid 70's or above, Martha heats up quickly and then begins to pant, drip, double pant and drip some more.
Mid last year we had to remove a beautiful shade tree from our front yard, so much to our dismay, we have trouble keeping Martha in "our" yard. Our replacement tree is a few years away from providing for her shade needs.
She seeks shade like a kid after an ice cream cone, and she also knows no boundaries (except for staying IN our cul-de-sac). I've posted a yard comparison with Martha having a little fun in the sun. Here she is enjoying the neighbors shady lawn.
The green sticker on her head is from her mean daddy. She did wear it proudly all day. It says Hava Java and came on top of his coffee this morning, which Mommy went to get for him, spoiled ya think?
Yes that is TWO tennis balls in that mouth, she wishes she could fit THREE!

I want a Hava Java sticker! Man, that is something for your dog to fit two tennis balls in his mouth! My dog is a big goofus. He will only fit one in his mouth and never give it back to you after he fetches it. He will drop it as soon as you walk away. Cheryl, I think it is cool that you had your man guest blog. I think I will ask mine to do so one day too. I think that would be fun and funny!
This makes me miss my doggies first thing I am going to do after I get moved is head to the shelter for a new pouch. Hope it is as cute as Martha.
I love her, she's so cute! I can't believe she can fit two tennis balls in her mouth. She clearly enjoys it!! I am very excited to see the new doggy debut next week!!
I love that she has both tennis balls in her mouth; making sure she has all of her toys. What a great sport to put up with the sticker!

Oh this is exactly my what my dog likes to do. She is the same, like to put as many toys as possible in her mouth. It's girl thing I think, because my other dog (male)would care less about stuff like that.
